  • Not bad, not amazing either. The biggest downfall of this place was the surprise $250 security deposit required at check-in that they fail to mention in the fine print when booking. It was just frustrating because it was another $250 that we couldn't spend while out there. It was, however, super clean, and modern. Our room was cleaned everyday pretty well. The building is so tall that if you're anywhere near the top floors, your ears will pop every time you get in the elevator because they go so fast. The pool was very impressive. We spent every day there. The staff was so nice, the waitresses came by every hour or so, making sure we didn't need any thing more. They were very accommodating. There was plenty of chairs to lounge out, but it did get PACKED on the weekend. So if you want a chair on the weekend, get there early! The other downfall is that, there's no fast way to the strip necessarily. Yes, the hotel is on the strip, but not facing it. So the front doors are facing their garage that they share with Aria. There's a walkway outside the front doors right to Aria's front doors, but you have to find your way through Aria, then get out to the strip. Or what's worse, is taking the tram that travels from Monte Carlo to Aria shoppes at Crystals, then to Vdara and Bellagio. It takes awhile, and then you still have to travel through the halls, the tram is quite confusing if you're new to this city center area. We found it best to take the back exit of Vdara, down their corridor, and go through the whole Bellagio and get to the strip that way. It was better than going through Aria in our opinion. The refrigerator in our room sucked, but that was really my only complaint about the room. It was hardly cold and wouldn't change temperature, and it hardly held anything. We couldn't fit more than 3 beers in it. Other than that-I would have nothing bad to say about the rooms. The shades and blackout shades for the morning were pretty convenient and a nice addition to the room. Those blackout shades really came in handy in the morning hours because you're so high up in those tall buildings that the sun really is right there.
