| - A really delightful place. It's small but there's plenty of parking in the lot and on the street. Lines in the drive-through can get long but move really fast thanks to their ordering system (a worker will come to your car to take your order and your money and then you pick-up at the window). Comparable to Starbucks in terms of variety and cost, (I think Smooth Brew actually has a few more interesting options than Starbucks) but their drinks and snacks are sooo much tastier. They have a punch card where you can get a free drink after 10, which is fun.
Also, I am not a Coffee Person, and I find their menu SO much easier to navigate than the one at Starbucks. Pick a size, iced or hot, what kind of drink, easy peasy. None of this grande latte foam non-fat kid's temp extra shots secret menu coffee snob blah blah blah. I'm sure you CAN get that fancy, but you don't leave Smooth Brew feeling stupid if you just want a large iced coffee.
I also love that they offer almond milk, which not all coffee shops (even the big guys) carry regularly. The Turkish latte is my current favorite, strong and sweet and full of cardamom. Treats aren't made in-house, as far as I can tell, but I've had a couple of offerings, including a chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) and it was pretty tasty. Service is great, fast, and always friendly. They hire nice people. Highly recommend this sweet little place.
