  • This review is long over due for the amazing experience we had thanks to Katrina!! I was in North Carolina for Thanksgiving weekend (haha yes, THAT long over due!) and a bunch of us have never done any escape the room before. And who doesn't want to escape their families at one point during the holiday weekend? lol With that said we made our way over and were greeted by Katrina. She asked if any of us had ever done this, and walked us through what to expect, how to go about it, and so forth. For a first timer - she was so helpful and so detailed with her introduction that I had no questions! The room itself - we got the haunted house where we were paranormal investigators (SO MUCH FUN, try this one out!) - was super fun and detailed. From what I've gathered it's not like other escape the rooms where you're stuck in one room the entire time. This one had about 3 rooms leading to the last and final room - which figuring out a certain puzzle opened another door, which another puzzle lead you to another room, but you had to go back to the first to grab something. We did it with three people in total, and I found it helpful because everyone got to work on their own puzzle, and if you were stuck you would switch. That whole - too many hands in the pot. But I believe you can have up to 8 people into a room. Afterwards, we talked to Katrina a little bit - about other rooms and what to expect from those, which were her favorites, etc. It was just honestly an amazing experience, because of the room and because of how friendly and informative Katrina was. Highly recommend!
