Festival was OK this year. It's getting more and more expensive. We dropped $100 easily for four of us (not including admission fees). Don't think we will go back next year. Not worth the money anymore. Everything seemed to be in the $6-$12 range. Food truck festival is to try various SMALL bites. This is so that people can try multiple items. Most of the vendors were serving full size meals instead or else had inflated their prices for the event. A few got the concept of sample size plates. I'm looking at you Island Stir Fry. I liked my sample so much that I went back for more. Another complaint I had was that we tried buying VIP tickets via the web site but the system would not let us buy them. The VIP gives you free water and soda and some booze drinks. We had to buy regular tickets. We asked at the gate why VIP not available and lady said that they have been sold out for days. So.... why isn't the website updated? I call BS because a friend of ours bought VIP tickets the day before so their story doesn't add up. It was very unorganized and some advertised trucks did not show up. A map of the trucks would have been nice. Like I said, it's getting too expensive, it's unorganized, and we most likely are not going next year.
