I have a love/hate relationship with Moto... It's on my way home from work so it's an easy stop for takeout. I've dined in a well.
I typically get the Beef Pho, extra beef and usually a small Papa Tran Riblets appetizer. When done right both are delicious. I love these riblets, they are addictive and are coated in salt and pepper and chili flakes. They are served dry and very addictive if you like a little heat you can't eat just one!
My beef with Moto is consistency, both on food and service. I got takeout last night and the Pho was very good but the riblets just didn't have their normal coating of seasoning and it's the heat I really like. Don't get me wrong they were still good, but just not the same. This is not an isolated incident it's happened several times where something is just off and also more than once they have actually left a whole dish or a component out of my order forcing me to return. It didn't happen last night because I've learned to double check.
When done right these two items are both very very good. I just wish they would be done right more often as you just never know here. That said it's convenient and I keep going back because like I said when it's good when it's good.
Mojo's their version of an ice cream sushi rolled in Rice Krispie treats. Well you will have thought you died and went to heaven. Super delicious. You never know what flavor you are getting.
I've never had their sushi but I've dined in and had the Pad Thai which was also good.
Three stars for inconsistency of food preparation and service for pretty regularly leaving something out of a takeout order.
