Literally walked in and purchased a 15-inch MacBook Pro w/ AppleCare. Asked them to evaluate my current MacBook for trade in. Walked out with $2400.00 later and received a call the next day with an offer of $150.00 for my MacBook. I realize on buy back's they're looking to make a profit, but customer loyalty and customer service must not be held in high regard. They explained in the private market the old MacBook would be work $550 to $600- and they offer $150?
I've also been having problems with the brand new computer dropping its wireless connection every 15-20 mins. I of course googled the problem and found countless blogs, web pages, and forums about the exact problem I am having. When I asked the MacMedia representative if he'd heard of the problem he said, "No, never". Um....
My advise, stick with Apple Retail Stores- I've had great luck with Apple Biltmore.
