This is a quaint, small coffee shop with its own character. I am a decaf coffee drinker, but they do not serve brewed decaf and I felt like I could use some "high octane" stuff this morning, so I had a medium dark roast, which was excellent. Although I didn't need it for sure, I also had a piece of their chocolate cake, which was a very healthy sized serving. I enjoy my desserts, but I would not have complained if the serving size had been smaller. The cake was heavy and rich -- definitely a good value for the money I paid. They have a back room which I found to be comfortable and a bit quieter than the main restaurant. The back patio is non-smoking, and as it was cloudy and cool today, no one seemed to be using it. Moonbean does not have WiFi which is the only negative I found about the restaurant. It would not prevent me from returning as I believe the coffee and food is very good. Adding WiFi though in our day and age does seem like a smart business move. I will be back.
