| - I'm sorry to say it but I have never been so disheartened by some bullshit from a local pizza spot. My wife and I have been loyal customers for 5+ years. She has dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free and soy free) and, for her especially, pizza is a treat. The fact that her small gf/df/sf pizza can run up to $35 is outrageous but we pay the price because it's the best we can get. Not anymore. Screw ZPizza.
Last Friday was brutally exhausting for her and I didn't feel like being a chef so I ordered pizza early in the afternoon with explicit instructions to deliver at the time she would be home and comfortable, 6:45pm. At six o'clock, the pizza arrived. I told the driver she was early and her response was, "well, there's nothing we can do about it now." Had I not been in the middle of working I would have ended the conversation differently but I let it go and did not throttle her on the spot.
This is not the first, second, third or fourth time we've had problems with orders or restitution with ZPizza. We've forgiven wrong orders, late deliveries and poor delivery service before because we aren't the types to fuss over trivia. But that night I wrote a private message to their Facebook page explaining my dissatisfaction. Thus far, no response. I called them on Monday asking to speak to the manager, again, no response, no call back. It's Wednesday. I've been patient enough.
Hey ZPizza! I will never speak your name well again. You have no problem taking my money but you suck at delivering what is ordered. Your dismissal of me as insignificant or unworthy of attention isn't right. Your ethics and integrity speak volumes and your representation of your brand is subpar. I'd say you're cooking up a financial shitstorm and I hope somebody will put you back on track.
