  • Was walking by this place last week with friends from out of town. We saw in the window that they sold St-Viateur bagels so we stoped out front to decided weather or not they were going to pick some up. Within seconds an older lady who worked there came out to yell at my friends about their dog (keep in mind we had not yet entered the store or even opened the door). While we tried to explain to her that this was a seeing eye dog she continued to be rude and gestured them away from the door and invited me in thinking I was not with them. The dog was wearing his full harness and was very visibly a working dog. She continued to yell and be completely rude regardless of the fact that the dog is permitted to go into the establishment. I was completely disgusted by her behaviour. I will never give them business again and I suggest ppl shop at the many other delicatessens near by. A block further we walked I to la veille Europe and they politely asked if the dog was a working dog and proceeded to be very helpful with their service.
