The food here is great but the customer service is terrible.....
Was at Soho finishing dinner when they close the restaurant. The wait and cook staff were cleaning up without regards that customers were still present in the dining room. A girl (Asian, medium height and build) was singing/squealing at the top of her lungs and cursing left and right. It was obviously a cry for attention from the sushi chefs. I'm pretty patient but after it continued for about 30 minutes I could not handle it any more. Casey, our server at the time, was great. He was polite and mild mannered. His energy did its best to offset that crazy lady. We tipped him 100% of the tab for saving our sanity.
Basically, it's hard for local restaurants to succeed when they are competing against big named chefs on the strip. Soho definitely has the food handled, but they could really invest in hiring a restaurant manager to ensure that the ambience is maintained (especially when a customer called to ensure that it is not too late to get proper service).
