  • A great supermarket...I really wish we had Heinen's in Metro Detroit!!! We came in search of certain things and found all of them. The wine section was a bit small, but carried some interesting and varied selections, and an employee did stop by to politely ask if I needed any help finding something specific. An ice-bath wine chiller is a very convenient and thoughtful addition if you're running in at the last minute. My only complaint is the bottleneck entrance...the day we came in, there was a gentleman sharpening knives in the lobby (which is a great service!). The problem was that his table created a squeeze for shoppers both entering and exiting, between the knife-sharpening and the collection of empty shopping carts. For a store of this size, having such a cramped entryway is really inexcusable. Overall, though, a very nice store!
