  • I admittedly show a bit of my feminist bias in reviewing this store, but I love this place. The selection of books in this store is outstanding. A feminism-themed bookstore, this store has excellent selections on a variety of topics. In particular, their books pertaining to sustainability and the environment are very well-chosen, in addition to them having quite a selection. As one would expect, there's also a rich selection of books relating to feminist and queer issues. But, across the board, their selection on all topics is good--especially when one considers the small size of this store. The staff are also very courteous and helpful, and there is a great discount section with used books--again--with an amazing selection. This is simply one of the best bookstores I've found anywhere in the U.S. It is a true asset to the city of Madison.
