I had a slice of cheesecake at Carnegie for an afternoon snack. The cheesecake was quite rich and tasty. Unfortunately, I thought it was just a little bland for my liking, but I have a major sweet tooth.
The diner situated inside the Mirage casino floor is a little odd, in my opinion. I don't feel that I got a true diner experience since I could still hear the pings/dings of the slot machines and still smell the cigarette smoke since I was technically eating my cake in the actual casino.
Question regarding the Vegas hotel/casino themes: why is Carnegie Deli in Las Vegas located inside the Mirage? Why is it not inside New York New York?
Even though the cheesecake was a nice afternoon treat, the next time I'm in Vegas, Carnegie won't be on my list of places to visit.
