| - I've been waiting nine months for this trip, and it's probably one of the most anticipated things I've ever had in my life. EDC and everyone around it is said to be this amazing festival where everyone can come together, and no one is judged whether it be by size, shape, race, gender, sexual preference etc. we're all here together as one. EDC is based on PLUR, And just loving and taking care of one another. Unfortunately, I've sadly learned that is not how it works (from my personal experience and what I've seen/personally experienced so everyone may be different) Maybe it was bad luck, but at least a good 80% of people that I met/came across were SO rude and so disrespectful. My husband got up and offered a girl a seat, and she looked at him like he was stupid and ignored him. I just don't understand how so many of these people come to an event to unite as ONE, yet they are so rude and judgy as individuals. That's not what EDC is about and it was so disappointing that I had to see that first hand. The DJ's and their sets however, are AMAZING and I would deal with all of the people just to see them again. It makes me sad as well to see how disorganized the shuttles were. I've heard from others that this is a normal thing yearly. We left to the shuttles around 3:45 and I did not make it home until 7. And all of that was honestly standing in the lines waiting on the shuttles to pick us all up. I am blessed and so thankful that I was able to experience this trip, and to be with all of the people who are all here for the same reason, to love, not to judge, and to just unite from all over the world and be under the same sky.
