This Rite Aid has lost my business after the way an employee treated me today. I have brought my very small service dog in a few times and no one has ever said anything. Today I found out there is a teeny tiny sign on the door about not allowing animals. As soon as I walked in today, in front of two other customers (who seemed uncomfortable with the confrontation), the cashier called out to me, "ma'am, we don't allow animals in the store." Ok, I told her this wasn't a problem before. She asked if he was a service dog and I said yes. She asked to see my paperwork and when I didn't have it, she said I'd have to speak with the manager, whom she called over the intercom. This was quite embarrassing! The manager was polite and let me shop this time, but it doesn't matter - I won't be back.
