  • Well, that was easy! The darkness had tricked us into arriving at 4:45pm to Shabu Shabu Paradise, and they don't open until 5. To pass the time we decided to pop into Valley Cheese & Wine. Killing a bottle of wine after dinner seemed like a wonderful idea. The store is bright, well-organized and well-stocked. As soon as we wandered in, we were greeted and asked if we needed any help. At first, we politely declined, but after drifting about aimlessly, I finally said, "Actually, we would like a Pinot Noir." He asked for our price range, and in under a minute, we had our bottle of wine. I also noticed plenty of stocking stuffers for foodies, such as a collection of mini honey pots. Even if you aren't in a gift-giving mood, this is the right spot for wine lovers and newbies to score the perfectly priced bottle of vino. Don't be afraid to ask for help!
