| - i've been meaning, waiting and damn near salivating to this place for months now.
it was absolutely worth the wait...
a very easy location to get to, the restaurant is a decent sized in comparison to how you would assume it looks from the outside. i wanted to make this a special night, and go out with a bunch of my friends for a xmas dinner. half of my friends ended up cancelling on me, which really wouldn't have matter either way. we went on a Saturday night, every tv had hockey on, but the place was dead...i didn't understand this, and at the end of the review, you won't understand either. most of the party was here, just waiting on one last friend to show up, we were served by Alison (we called her Alice in wonderland, of a poutine nature, which got a good laugh out of her) who was an absolute pleasure to be served by. she gave us the run down of how things went, we can go through the menu, or we can do the option of "making your own poutine" awesome! i was already impressed! my friends and i made through our options, and proceeded to order through Alice, now we might have gotten caught up in our conversations, but no sooner we got into the groove of talking, the app's showed up. soon enough all of our main's showed up, minus my S.o's to which Alice took notice of and responded with, I'll get you an answer right away. within a minute she came back and said they're has been a delay, really sorry, but you should have it within three minutes, which to her credit, the poutine got to the table in three minutes. also, because of the delay, she presented my S.o with some coupons for the next time that we came back. they're wasn't a single complaint about the food, across the board, we were all extremely satisfied with our food. to further the point with Alice's awesome service, we all got glasses of water, aside from our other drinks, NONE of us hit the bottom of the water glass, within 60 seconds of clearing our food, each individual cleared plate was taken away, and she genuinely cared about us as a group, talking with us, and just having amazing bedside manner. the dessert was amazing as well, they only had three options but it was really fantastic.
i really don't understand how empty this restaurant was with all the amazing service we received, and all the delicious food we had.
poutineville? more like Poutine-heaven...will defiantly be back :)
and we will be back to take on the $100 Poutine...whats the $100 poutine? pay 100 bucks, and get 15 lbs of poutine...amazing
*they also serve app's, and burgers, aside from poutine*
I'm not ashamed to say that Alice received my second biggest tip I've ever given out, she defiantly earned it, and did it with seemingly no effort. amazing service by a very talented lady who needs to be patted on her back for a flawless service. i honestly have nothing negative to say about the service at all and i will be sending a high recommendation to whoever can listen.
*my only 2 tiny issues, cause its not big enough for a complaints*
the hot wings(911 flavor) are not hot at all, very flavorful, but not hot.
they had plastic chairs opposite of booth seating, and for someone who is just over 300lbs...i didn't feel comfortable sitting in those plastic chairs.
amazing place, and i think my newest go-2 for poutine
