| - These guys probably knew this review was coming. I'll make this review as short as possible.
My partner and I stopped in, and spoke with Joe, to get a couple quotes on sound systems, body work, lift kits, etc. We explained we were going to put my truck in the Gay Pride Parade and around this time Mo (boss?) walked in and had overheard and he excitedly jumped in and said if we display their logo that maybe we could work some kind of deal on the parts/labor. This in turn had us even more excited. He asked us to send in the specs on the parade, so the next day we sent it to the email he provided.
- I spoke with Joe and he said to send the email to him instead of his boss and that he would look it over and send it to him (idk why?) So I did and asked when I could expect to hear back, he said later that day.
- Never heard from them that day, so I called the following day and Joe said he hasn't seen his boss yet so to call back later.
- called back later, and he said he hasn't seen his boss yet because he goes back and forth between there and their body shop and said I could probably catch him on the weekend. So, I planned to go in on that Saturday.
- Joe called me Saturday and said not to come in because he had not seen his boss yet, and said I could probably catch him best on Monday or Tuesday. And then Joe said he looked at the email but didn't really understand it... so we went over the whole program with him again and he excitedly said he really wants to work with us. We reiterated that we were on a time schedule because of the upcoming parade.
- waited till Tuesday and I called and Joe had said he had not seen his boss yet.
-called Wednesday and Joe had not seen his boss yet. I asked him if it would be better if I emailed the specs to his boss. He said yeah but that he had already sent it to his boss like 7 times. I again reiterated that I needed to get this done asap. This was already a week into talking with them. I lost an entire week. He said "I will call you back in 30 minutes.
I never heard from them again. I called RBO MOTORSPORTS and my truck was done on Friday.
The thing is, we never asked for a discount. It was Mo's idea. He offered. But if they couldn't do it... we would have been happy to do business with them as usual. But now I won't go to them because I can't trust the professionalism or that they'll have anything done in a timely manner.
RBO MOTORSPORTS rocked my sound system and they'll be getting my future business.
