| - Husband and I won some concert tickets for a show at the Wildhorse Pass Casino and since this hotel was full, we booked a room at the Sheraton. We decided to splurge a little since we haven't been out for a while so decided to pay $160.00 for one night.
As usual, the resort is beautiful and very calming. The room was nice, king size bed was fricking AMAZING and comfortable. We only needed to sleep and weren't really here for all of the hotel amenities but super thankful that the bed and covers were awesome.
Now....here comes the BAD part. For what you pay a night (even getting a deal on hotelfinder, com, etc.) you would think that the dang walls would be a little more soundproof than what they really are. we could hear EVERYTHING!!! Including the woman next door getting it on with her man whose headboard was against the same wall as our bed... 1a.m. in the morning this woman starts howling like an injured pig so stinking loud I could hear her breathing as well (again EVERYTHING). People...please think vocal control when you are having sex in a resort room. #1...she could do way better than what she sounded like., #2, if you are gonna go for broke, good god, come up with some better sex talk than what you were putting out. Since I had to listen to it for 2 fricking hours before I started pounding on the dang wall!, #3 - PUT A SOCK IN IT!!! It sounded like I was listening to the worst porno I have ever heard (and I have watched my fair share believe me - she would not cut it as a porn star for sure)
I will be much more hesitant to book a room here knowing that you have no sleeping peace during the night. I was so disappointed. When we checked out, the lady asked us how are stay was and even after telling her it wasn't great, she just said, oh I am so sorry, I hope your next stay is better. Seriously??? There won't be a next time. Not for that price.
Luckily the bed helped a little. Thank you for reading!!!
