  • After 10 years, it was way past time to get our piano tuned. I saw the good reviews for Barnes on Yelp, and decided to try them. Talking to Tim's assistant on the phone was great, she was able to answer my questions, and I set up an appointment. This was followed up with an email confirmation, a reminder email several days before, and a phone call reminder the day before. The actual tuning was fantastic! Tim is very knowledgeable, and clearly has such a passion for pianos that he takes great pride in his craft, which is so different from many people I've hired over the years. The price was as quoted, very reasonable for such an out of tune piano, and I not only learned a lot from him, but also felt great that there are still areas where a skilled professional can help people out while performing a service they love. I will certainly use Barnes again, and highly recommend them.
