  • When I bought a used 325i with a rare smg transmission I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Especially when I started having problems within the first week of buying it. Most shops had no idea how to even begin with an smg transmission and had even more difficulty in explaining anything to me. Then I came across Bavarian Motors. When I was talking to David, who is a previous dealer tech, he spoke to me in a way that I could understand exactly what was going on with my car and had no hesitation with the difficult and rare smg transmission. This is a place that can handle any problem you have. Their prices are reasonable, and they actually care about their customers. After a dozen shops told me to scrap my car due to the transmission failure, and that it wasn't worth fixing, David was able to find what the other shops couldn't. Turns out all you needed was a little expertise to find out what was really wrong, and walked away with a perfect transmission after only minor repairs. There is not another shop I will ever go to when servicing my BMW.
