Drive for 45 minutes just to eat a hamburger? (Did I say a very good hamburger?)
Read the feature/review in Thursday's Trib magazine section. First trip, ever, for a specialty hamburger. Certainly will not be the last!
Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Restaurant was just about full. Nice contemporary atmosphere. Very interesting selection of beer from the taps, bottles and cans... yes, cans. Had a little of each!
Burgers were excellent. Cooked exactly as requested. Sides were also very good. Slaw was not typical, much more creative.
Very good service from the server and bartenders.
Excellent French press coffee, and the pound cake with blueberries was one of the better desserts I have recently enjoyed.
We have already determined our selections for the next visit.
Never knew that hamburgers could be this good.
Oh, I should mention that, for a gourmet burger restaurant, no one has any attitude problems. I have seen too many reviews about poor service with indifference at other places.
Benjamin's is a fairly new venue. Everyone works hard to deliver a good customer experience.
Great wine and beer choices. Great food. Great service. What else could you want?
Sure, you can have that too: fair prices for a first-rate meal.
Enjoy!
