  • I absolutely love this little gem in Charlotte. Grab some food for a picnic and bring your kids to see planes land and take off. It's completely free so how can you turn it down? It can be a little loud sometimes from the planes but not so bad that kids will be scared. This place is always great when we're stuck on what to do for the day. You can also see downtown Charlotte from here. It really is a beautiful place just to sit back and relax with kids.
