  • Black coffee: 5.0 Lattes n such: 5.0 I'm impressed. I had never heard of these guys, and I didn't quite know what to expect. But Provision delivered excellently roasted coffee, great espresso, and ingenious lattes. Black coffee: 5.0 Provision's roasts are quite solid. I had an espresso there with delightfully smooth chocolate and light fruity notes (kinda reminded me of pear). I took home an Ethiopian Guji, and they roasted it wonderfully. What more could I say? Lattes n such: 5.0 I only had one latte there--the habanero mocha. Habanero has wonderful flavor, but it can be tricky to work with, especially in drinks, as attempting to tame its impressive heat often comes at the cost of its great flavor. But Provision succeeded, delivering a well composed habanero mocha that playfully balances the heat and fruitiness of habanero with rich chocolate. They had other interesting looking lattes that I'm confident taste delicious--hopefully I'll end up in the area again to try them. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the shop is a bit small, and bizarrely connected to many rooms of hairstylists. But all in all, the coffee was great, and the lattes were creative and well executed--you can count me an instant fan.
