| - Overall: avoid PureSkin Laser Clinic! The staff here are crooks and they just want your money and will cancel your appointment last minute for a stupid excuse.
I had read some reviews prior to purchasing this Groupon deal. I was a bit skeptical about this place because of the poor rating it had on Google Reviews. However, the reviews on Groupon were a bit better and a couple of my other friends also purchased this deal saying the results were good. So I went ahead and bought it.
I went into the clinic and I got to say the staff was not as welcoming, which I had expected because of the reviews. But I'm mainly there for the product so I didn't mind. I had scheduled an appointment with them 6 weeks in advance, however, the night before my appointment they called me to cancel because their machines are not 'working'. They had cancelled through voicemail because I was unable to answer the call. They had told me they would call me back the following week to reschedule my appointment but never did. I tried calling them every day, at least 3 times a day but reaching them was unsuccessful. Their voicemail is always full, but they probably would never return my calls if I had left a message anyway. The receptionist and staff do not care about customer service and they're really unorganized.
A few days later, I went back onto Google reviews again to find out that other girls had the same issue a couple weeks back, how their appointments were also cancelled. If they had a problem with their machine for a couple weeks now, why would they call me the night before? I kept on reading more recent reviews and a bunch of girls had shown up to their appointment for nothing because the clinic was 'closed'. They did not bother to tell these girls, or they had previously cancelled their appointment and rescheduled a new one for nothing. Neighboring stores had told some of the girls that they've seen a bunch of customers come and go because they had a scheduled appointment as well but the place was closed. This is ridiculous because the clinic never called these girls and what if some of us had to travel a long distance to get to the clinic?
It seems like this place is going downhill for poor customer service and canceling clients' appointments, stealing our money. I had complained to Groupon customer service because I am not paying for a service that I did not fully receive. They were gladly able to refund me since it was my first Groupon experience, and hopefully the transaction will process shortly (it has been 3 days since I contacted them).
