I went into this location after being advised by my family doctor. I had a surgeon appointment scheduled for later that day, but my symptoms were concerning and my doctor did not think I should wait- she was worried about internal bleeding. I was there for 15 minutes total. The doctor looked at the area of concern, stated that he saw a "scratch" and that was the cause of the bleeding. I became upset and started crying explaining that I had a ct-scan done the day before, did he want the files to review, exc...All this to which he said he looked "really good" and he can assure me I am ok to wait until my appointment later that day. $500.00 later I was back at my house waiting for my other appointment, confused by why I was continuing to bleed in the way I was. The surgeon was beyond himself by the time I was seen. I was in fact bleeding internally and was scheduled for surgery 48 hours later. I called this facility the next day (day after initial service) to explain my concern and get reimbursed for wrongful diagnosis. The surgeon even offered to speak on my behalf (thats how bad it was). Two months later and I cannot get a supervisor on the phone, the claim has been submitted incorrectly, I am still out $500.00, and even the insurance company has reached out to them. This was a terrible and scary situation in every aspect.
