  • I had the same experience as many others, these guys are ripoff artists. I also have American Home Warranty and was referred for a leaking water softener filter covering. After the $50 service fee, the guy wanted $450 to replace the filter cover. I called a plumber friend who told me how ridiculous that price was. I called a reputable plumber the next day and for the price of a $35 cover and 5 minutes to unscrew the old and screw in the new I was at $100 all in. Buyer Beware!!
