| - Our daughter has been at the Chess Emporium for a few months and is loving it. She attends the classes and plays in every Friday night tournament she has time for. The service has been impeccable. She learns something new every time, and enjoys learning from the coaches and playing with the other students. I usually stay at the Center for hours, while she is in class and plays in the tournaments. It is refreshing to see employees working so hard. Their work ethic is astonishing. They are either coaching, interacting with students, cleaning and refreshing the restroom, restocking complimentary water bottles (and tea and coffee), doing paperwork, entering accounting in the system to keep track of attendance, payments, etc. And, they all work together to help the business run smoothly and properly. They interact wonderfully with the students as they appear to genuinely love the game of chess and working with children. Most impressive was what I observed when a student said she felt ill during a tournament while her parents were away on a "parent night out." The employees were so attentive, efficient, responsible and nurturing in the way they handled the situation. She could not have been in better hands. We also encountered a minor issue when our daughter first started with the Chess Emporium - transfer of her records between their Center locations did not occur when it should have, in spite of their assurance that it would. However, after-the-fact they swiftly resolved it exactly the way a reputable business ought. Thus far, it has been a pleasant and wonderful experience.
