  • Five years ago, I had a consult at BDP for lasik surgery, and they said I was an ideal candidate for mono-vision lasik. However, since I had no experience or knowledge with that, they recommended I see my optometrist for mono-vision contacts. I have been wearing them for the last 5 years, happy. The last year, I experienced really bad allergies, resulting in itchy eyes so bad, I couldn't wear my contacts. I have worn contacts for 35 years, and glasses before that. I finally decided it was time for mono-vision lasik. I was in for the consult on Tuesday, surgery on Friday. Four days later, I am a new person who can see the world through new eyes! Thank you Dr. Perkins, for changing my life.
