| - I was referred to a couple other nail places in the area, but I just favored this location and loved the name and the other good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot.
I'm 9 months pregnant and while I'm waiting for my li'l man to make his appearance I decided I wanted to look and feel pretty too. So I chose to get a mani/pedi.
I arrived around 5:45pm. They got me in by 6pm. I had a lovely conversation with another waiting customer while I waited (she was waiting for her friend to arrive). They got the tub set up beforehand and then had me take a seat and I probably soaked there for another 15 minutes or so, which was fine with me. I got the massage chair going and just zoned out and enjoyed sitting there. I ended up getting a signature pedi, but because I had no callouses she offered to give me a paraffin wax on my feet instead, which was quite pleasant. Meanwhile, since my feet were taking awhile, Nancy came over to work on my nails. One of the other techs had convinced me to get a gel manicure (reasoning made sense: I'm having a baby, so it'll last longer). So while I sat there getting my calves and feet massaged, Nancy came over and worked on my cuticles and nail beds to prepare them, then she brought over her little curing light and began painting and I'd switch hands back and forth under the curing light.
$58 and an hour and a half later, I was out the door looking and feeling beautiful.
The ladies were all very nice and friendly. I will most definitely plan on returning to get my nails done again :)
