So I have been putting Cajun Queen off for sometime now but after I kept hearing online others raving about how good the food was I said eh lets go. So myself and others headed out here yesterday. One thing I love is their is complimentary parking here we were panicking when we first arrived thinking we were not going to be able to find a park ,but to our surprise they had valet service. I feel Cajun Queen has a very intimate setting. Also if you looked around that's all we really seen was couples sitting around gazing in each others eyes and such. They did a very good job with bringing that New Orleans Vibes to Cajun Queen far as decorating goes, real laid back setting with Jazz music playing and mardi gras beads everywhere from outside in the grass to hanging over the ceiling fans I thought that part was pretty cool. Now I can't say the same about the food. Our food was okay, I was expecting so much more I feel like what I ordered wasn't that flavor filled as it should be. I ordered the Crawfish scampi with rice, my mother ordered the half half deal half fried shrimp and half fried oysters, she complained about her broccoli being pretty tough but she didn't want to make a fuss so she just left on the plate. What I will say is for an appetizer we ordered the fried green tomatoes and those were to die for !!!!! Not sure what type of sauce those tomatoes were drenched in but I'm definitely going back just for the green fried tomatoes I want to give them another try all in all .
