  • We came to Escape Kings for a friend's birthday and we all had a great time! We have done a few escape rooms before so we understood the concept and worked well as a team. We booked the only room that was available and just our luck, it was the most difficult room (besides Aztec Ruins, which is difficult because you have the chance to win an Xbox). We did the Ghost Hunters room where you are set in a scene where you are trying to set a ghost's spirit free. Definitely spooky! You are allowed three clues, so use them wisely! This experience was different for us because there were a lot of locks but not all had to be opened, so pay attention to the story line. The location is conveniently located near Carowinds so if you are out of town and need some other activities to do besides the amusement park, this is a great option! The staff here is SO friendly. You can tell that they are all so smart and love what they do. The game maker even added personal touches to really make the birthday boy special.
