| - I don't think I have a single negative thing to write here, so let's get on with the positives:
It's $10 a month. Seriously. That's crazy cheap.
This place is CLEAN. The staff regularly mop, vacuum, and wipe down all of the equipment. Even in the winter, there really wasn't a lot of salty trails along the walking areas. Bathrooms are kept very clean.
The locker rooms are just what you need. There are tall lockers or short lockers, coat racks, showers, mirrors to admire yourself in, etc etc etc
The equipment is well kept. I've seen equipment go bad and then be fixed the next day. I've seen the large amount of cardio equipment all be used at the same time, but that was once and it was the beginning of the year, so a lot of New Years resolutions had to be made. There are a few squatting racks, a few benching racks, and then a bunch of standalone adjustable benches. There are two sets of dumbbells up to 80 lbs (I think). A variety of machines are also available in pairs.
Staff here has also always been fantastic. I haven't had a single problem arise where they weren't helpful.
They do have a lunk alarm and it can be a wee bit annoying. It's actually almost more annoying than the grunting or the weight dropping that makes it go off. They do have good intentions, though, and I do think that it actually does reduce the number of people doing those things. I set it off once because my seat adjustment clicked really loudly. I've never seen anyone getting kicked out for clothing they wore, or other horror stories you hear from the name Planet Fitness.
All in all, a great and cheap gym.
