  • Me and a mommy friend checked out this place because I read that they carry this Ottawa designer who's clothes I'm loving right now. Oh so disappointed. Now I haven't worked in retail for a while - and when I did it was for Harry Rosen as a cappuccino girl (and I HATE coffee) - but I'm pretty sure that one of the first things that you do when someone enters your store is to give them a simple greeting. But no. Instead the store clerk just straight out ignored us even when I made a bee line right for the jacket that I coveted, and probably with the right amount of prodding would have bought. Seriously, when someone is picking up a garment and oggling it - that is an opportunity people! Instead the snobby store clerk proceeded to pick up the phone and when we passed her at the desk, turned her back on us completely! So RUDE. Next time I'll get my mom friend to walk by her so she turns her back and I'm gonna stuff the jacket in my stroller. Because no one suspects the baby to steal - but I'm teaching him while he's young.
