The newly relocated Trader Joe's from Decatur has arrived. I am so glad I no longer have to make such a drive to pick up my Trader Joe necessities. Yes, it's all about me hence all the I's. Lol. More so, when family are in town making this place the must stop...it's now easier since it is just up the road. Now I can go tell them to drive themselves! Hahaaha.
Opening day and random people were getting lei'd upon entering. I sadly didn't get...lei'd. Which might be a good thing because my husband may not like the sound of me calling him with excitement of getting lei'd.
Though I haven't visited its original location, I did find this location and layout a bit more widespread than the Washington and Downtown Summerlin location. There was a lot of people, but I didn't feel that opening day rush because of its space. I didn't feel like people were all in my way. Since it was opening day everything was well-stocked, clean, and employees were actively working the floor asking if you need assistance without overly doing it. I got the same Trader Joe enthusiasm and service as any location.
Parking lot was definitely busy, but what'd you expect considering it's Trader Joe's. It felt like it was typically like this when it was Fresh and Easy. Finding a parking stall shouldn't be difficult. Just finding one nearby/upfront might be.
Anyway, there isn't anything extra special or different. Just a new location to service us people up here who have to go out our way when all we wanted was cookie butter. Not that I'm speaking from experience. The NW is certainly growing and I'm glad Trader Joe's has moved in.
Enjoy!
