I won't write a long drawn out review but US Airways Club really lake the elegance and amenities you often see in other clubs and lounges. The only reason why I go to them is because its free entrance if you have an international first class ticket. But other than that, its not worth paying for a day pass and its not worth buying a membership. You would figure that since Skyharbor is a hub for US Air, this lounge would rock . . . but it doesn't.
I would recommend, if you really want the lounge experience, is go ahead and sign up for the American Express Platinum card. I believe it gives you access to any and all private airline lounges. The card costs like $400 bucks a year.
And I am not the biggest fan of lounges in general. You never get to meet interesting people there. The only people you meet there are basically suits and retired, traveling couples.
