| - My husband and I was married on September 8th, 2017 in Las Vegas. I can not say enough about Tonya and what a sweet kind giving soul she has. We originally was getting married in Key West, Fl and on Labor Sept 4th decided because of all the news about Hurricane Irma going to hit we needed to come up with a alternate plan. I started to search frantically for a venue, an officiant, a photographer. I was on a TIGHT budget because I actually lost all of my money for the Key West Wedding due to a nonrefundable clause in the contract. i cried, I stressed, I prayed.
I used Yelp to point me in the right direction. Tonya was the first review I clicked on, nothing but positive so I decided to call her. She was my ONLY call. Instant connection. I broke down and cried just talking to her about what was happening she comforted me and as I appoligized over and over for crying she told me she expected nothing less then tears to go ahead and cry and she promised she would take care of us.
We had four guests, and we did a Facebook live so our family could participate with us and stood in front of the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign traffic rushing by and a Superman wedding going on at the same time. We LOVE our Harley and of course had to go a crossed the street for pictures there as well. We also went back to the Mirage to have some "topical feel" pictures taken.
The pictures seemed endless! We took so many of the two of us the four of us the siblings only we even got pictures with Tonya because we gained a friend in Las Vegas that day. Once we got the pictures back all of my emotions came back to me of how lucky we were to find such a gem in the middle of or storm.
With the horrible shooting that has just occurred in Vegas this month I have had a lot of emotions flood me. We literally stood .08 miles from that spot where one of the most horrific shootings in history took place. Only at our spot we celebrated the happiest day of our life.The day I heard about it my first thought was TONYA! I hope she is ok! We didn't have the wedding we planned but we had the wedding we dreamed of as far as everything about our day was special unique and all about two people that wanted to marry their best friend. My flowers came from Albertsons literally wrapped ribbon around the $9.99 roses and called it a day. Its not about the flowers, dress, rings, guests, receptions, its about two best friends coming together and making it their day. Tonya made our day about us. She helped me find the perfect officiant she took amazing pictures and she was definitely the calm in our storm. We will never forget your loving spirit and kindness! We truly look at you as a friend and cant wait to see you again!
