I'm not a picky person. All I ask for is a clean room.
The hotel as a whole smelled pretty stale and smelled faintly of cigarettes. It says it's non-smoking there but it smells like it once was and they never bothered to rid the place of that smell... And that includes the rooms. I was too tired to complain when we arrived so I told them in the AM. But yeah, the place reeks and the doors look scuffed and dented.
I found an empty water bottle on the floor next to the bed. The floor looked like it was either lazily vacuumed or their vacuums are crap.
The breakfast area/front was clean so I did eat breakfast there and did not get sick.
I really don't recommend this unless you absolutely must stay there. We have dogs so our options are limited.
We did stay at the Nellis La Quinta before and while, yes, it was in a shady looking area it was much cleaner.
The front desk lady did give me a discount because of my dissatisfaction but it still does not mean I'll return.
Next time we drive through Vegas we will stay at Nellis again.
