| - When I decided to get a Czech bloodline German Shepherd I knew I was going to get her professionally trained. I seriously spent months researching dog trainers in the Phoenix area. I called every other popular place and was told that it would be 6 weeks for puppy classes, then 6 more weeks, and so on. When I found All-American K-9 and saw how affordable the price was and how short the classes were I was dubious of how well it could work.
But, then I took the time to google the owner's name and do a little background searching and it immediately sealed the deal for me. Bob and Pat have seriously extensive dog training experience in a multitude of ways. Plus, Bob responded to all of my e-mails immediately. Bob and Pat are very no-nonsense and straight to the point, which is something I appreciate.
My dog, Mavis, is just 8 months old but started to develop terrible habits. Insane leash pulling, bird chaser, jumping on people. I dreaded and avoided walking her which is exactly the opposite reason I got a dog. But by the end of the first class Pat had her heeling and sitting on command. We just finished up our last class and it's like I have a different dog. She is 100% still quirky and goofy, just has the ability to focus now. Pat even taught me how to give Mavis her commands in Czech so now she listens to my commands even in busy places.
Although she is still a puppy and I'll still have work to do, she has such a good foundation that I would 10/10 recommend Pat as a trainer. And to add a side note, e-collar training is a game changer. My dog does not feel any pain or discomfort, at all, from the collar, but now I have a well trained and calm companion.
