I haven't been to the speedway for a race, but I have attended a couple of festivals on the grounds. The grounds are taken care of - it's always been clean (no trash, etc.) when I've been there. Parking is in the grass, but rows are pretty well delineated and it's not too far of a walk from the parking to the festival area. The pavilion offers a break from the sun if it's in use, and I was grateful when it was. The main grounds don't have much to offer in the way of shade, so prepare to sweat in the summer. I haven't noticed any permanent bathroom or drinking water facilities on my visits, but there have always been port-a-potties and bottled water from vendors. This isn't a park I'd randomly drop in on, but it's not a bad place for a pop-up event.
