  • I had a wonderful experience! I went wanting a pair of running sneaks that I could put some miles on. I wanted something that I could be rough on and put high miles on my home treadmill and running road runs. I had no idea what style and don't care about looks (all running shoes are ugly to me). Josh greeted me and asked what brought me in and I explained that even though I own 1.2 million pairs of shoes and have that Z company family discount...I wanted to run a 5K before I allowed myself a new pair of actual running shoes I ran a 5K in Shox. Yep Shox. Now that's determination :) Yes I could have used my discount and ordered 15 pairs of random shoes and not know crap about what I was ordering...but then I might as well have continued to run in my old Nike, NB, Saucony...or even my Shox... :) Josh gave me all the knowledge and more...I took pics of some other lighter shoes that I can always buy next and explained exactly what I need for long distance vs short runs or faster time runs. I tried on several pairs of shoes and decided on some super comfy Adidas Energy Boost that I had read about the week before on Runner's World. The new tech of this shoe is super impressive. Josh was actually demoing a pair and I'm super happy with them four days later and already over ten miles on them :) Super happy and I would not hesitate to go back and buy another pair or two. Oh and I even FORGOT my 15% off check in discount LOL!
