I like this parade.
According to the posters around town, this will be the 65th year. Considering Scottsdale was only incorporated in 1951 with a population of 2,000, this annual parade started only a few years later. Scottsdale has changed significantly since then. However, the small town feel of this parade has not. That is what I like about it. High school marching bands, fire trucks and cowboys and cowgirls on horseback set against the Western facade of Old Town Scottsdale.
So, grab a lawn chair, pick a spot and watch the parade go by.
