| - The only way you will be satisfied after leaving this place is to go in and expect the worst treatment from the waitstaff. Prices are high compared to other pho places, so we don't come here too often. Pho is incredibly delicious, which is why I always come back after previously leaving, emotionally abused. They mainly have just two waitress and they are taking care of the tables and the front desk for customers who do take out. Because of their location in Charlotte, they have a very diverse crowd. I think that as long as you're not Asian, you will be respected and cared for, so don't be scared to try Vietnamese/Thai for the first time.
Today, I ordered a pho dish that didn't include beef meat balls. I requested to have some added for additional cost. Waitress rolled her eyes at me (picture Liz Lemon's masterpiece eye roll). Our order wasn't complicated. We both ordered tea to drink and then two pho dish and one to have meat balls added. Eye roll was unnecessary for such a common request from pho eaters. Their pho is some of the best pho I've had, and that keeps me coming back. The broth isn't over powered by sweetness and cinnamon, which is how I prefer it. Their serving looks small but I am always full and satisfied at the end. My boyfriend always gets the seafood pho (pho do bien) and I always want to try some of his broth. It's so clean and light. Their summer rolls are very sad. It had noodles, the herbs, and ONE shrimp, cut in half. The peanut sauce that comes with the summer roll is so unique and flavorful. It's the only thing that adds flavor to their summer rolls. I would prefer not to order it but my boyfriend will take summer rolls anywhere he can get them.
Their service is a hit or miss (expect miss), but their food is enough to recommend to you.
