| - OK. This was going to be a 1-star review, but I've decided to take this down the center of the road.
We made an hour-long drive from Sun Lakes to Glendale just to check this shop out, because this is Todd McFarlane we're talking about. I mean, Spawn!
Got there around 12:15 in the afternoon, this past Sunday, and found the store locked up and dark. The hours were posted as opening at 11 a.m. and they even made the point of posting the reduced Presidents Day hours. No note that they would be closed or that anyone would be back.
As we hung out, waiting to see if anyone would be coming to open the store, multiple people came by and stood there with us. A marathon had its finish line in the middle of the shopping center and some ladies, numbers still pinned to their shirts, kept cupping their eyes to peek inside, saying they were wanting to buy a bag they could see in the window. A couple of older gentlemen from out-of-state kept leaving and coming back, also saying they had made a long trip just to see the store. Every couple minutes another group of people would come by and utter their disappointment at not being able to go inside.

We ended up leaving around 1, feeling like suckers for wasting the gas and time to get out there and wait, and no one had come by.
Called up the shop later and were told by the guy who answered that he made it to the shop and realized he'd forgotten his keys, and had to drive all the way home to get them.
All right... I can accept that. Therefore, my review is based on what I was able to see and analyze through the window during the half hour or so I spent looking in like a loser.
For a man who's gotten famous off of his Spawn comics and figures, there's actually very little of it visible. Matter of fact there's ONE Spawn figure in the window -- a limited edition, hand-numbered statue for $129.95 (photo: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/fGblQa3PoNgRVG5HGaUhoQ?select=sslLGoiebbJgtpumXzOdnw). The same figure shows up again in another display case on the other side of the store.
The majority of what I could see was sports figures, Hello Kitty plush and Beanie Babies, Tim Burton toys, Halo merch (with a life-size Master Chief statue at the entrance), and Pop! vinyl toys. Otherwise, the shop looks organized and clean.

Prices weren't bad on some items. The Hello Kitty stuff was priced at $6.99, competitive with Sanrio, I'm sure (though I'm really not since Hello Kitty hasn't been my bag since I was 6).
The most of anything we were able to see were Star Wars memorabilia (a Stormtrooper doll was going for $98, same price on a Darth Vader), which were in the same cabinet with the Funko Pop! vinyl figures -- Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel/DC toys.
While I don't know much about the sports figures, I can tell you they are very finely crafted with a lot of detail. If anyone commented on them it was a complaint that there were too many Green Bay Packers in the window.
I'll have to come back some time to give a more thorough review.
