rev:text	I had just turned 21 and my boyfriend and I were in Vegas for EDC. However, as my friends all headed to the festival, we decided to skip out on Friday for a date night/birthday celebration! We texted the speakeasy and they were able to squeeze us in, telling us that there was a last minute cancelation and that normally there was a 3 month waitlist! We felt so lucky, as if fate were on our side. At first we weren't really sure how to enter. We saw the backdoor entrance picture on Yelp and first went there but had no luck. Eventually we realized we needed to enter through Commonwealth. Everyone who worked at Commonwealth, from the bouncers to the bartenders, were so intent on keeping the secret of the Laundry Room under locks, it was really cute. We were instructed to wait by a wall and eventually a lady came up to us and took us to a back room where she explained the rules to us as well as the history behind the bar (I don't want to spoil the story!!). When we finally got the walk into the back room, I was left in a trance. It was so stunning and quaint! Incredibly romantic with exquisite drinks! The drinks are on the pricier side, but you pay for not only the drink, but also the experience. If you're looking for a place to get drunk, try Commonwealth right outside! This is the type of bar to chat and enjoy the company of others, all while sipping a really wonderful drink. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for something more low-key in the hectic city that is Las Vegas. Enjoy!
