  • We had a wonderful experience adopting from the Toronto Humane Society. The staff and volunteers were knowledgeable and friendly. The process was thorough but also efficient. When we adopted Minnie she was almost 3 months old. She had been spayed and received all of the shots she needed at her age, at no charge to us. Based on her health, the surgeries and veterinary care she'd received up to that point was excellent. She is now 10 months old and continues to be extremely healthy (I do feed her a grain-free wet food only diet as well as an omega 3 formulation especially for cats, and she uses dust-free and nonscented litter). I'm so glad to have Minnie in our home. She is very cuddly and playful. I'm sure that her wonderful temperament has to do with the fantastic care she received at THS.
