  • Just when I thought there was a decent car wash in Las Vegas, my hopes were dashed. I used to love this place. Over the last several washes, I have noticed a steady decline in quality. I probably would have stuck it out and waited to see if they turned around, but today these guys lost my business for good. I've had several problems with their advertised and posted hours of operation. Four times prior to today, I've gotten there shortly before their advertised closing time to find them already long gone. Today I got there 13 minutes prior to their closing time of 5pm, and they were closing up. I was turned away, even though I asked the owner or manager (the guy that is always there) to help me out. He was more concerned with getting out of there than working with a regular customer during his stated normal business hours. I use my car for business, so it's part of my image. I was unexpectedly hit with a customer's lawn sprinklers while parked yesterday, so I was in desperate need of a wash today so that I could be prepared for the workday tomorrow. Personal business had me on the other side of town, where I could have easily gotten a car wash, but I decided to hustle back toward home so I could give my business to Desert Car Wash. This turned out to be a bad mistake. As I mentioned earlier, I arrived 13 minutes prior to closing to find them shutting down. This was the fifth time I'd had this experience with Desert Car Wash. This time, I really needed the wash, so I got out and asked why they were closing early yet again. I was told that they actually close at 4:45 because they need to do all of these things to get out of there at 5pm. I'm not sure where these guys are coming from, but when you post hours of operation, those are the hours a customer can come to your business and expect to be served. If the closing time is actually 4:45 to the public, why don't they post that it's 4:45? An honest disclosure of business hours would have saved me lots of time, frustration, and hassle today. I guess the worst part for me is that they refused to help out a regular customer. I'm really disappointed and will, yet again, be looking for a quality car wash. Please message me if you have any recommendations! I'm sad to lose these guys, even though their quality was going downhill...
