| - Bottom Line: NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN
I wasn't a frequent Aritzia shopper to begin with, but in the handful of times I have been, the service is so horrendous, that it can't possibly be a fluke.
MY LAST EXPERIENCE
5 sales girls approached me within 1 minute of walking into the store, one after the other, after telling each one that I don't need help. Eventually, I needed a size in a sneaker and a couple dresses, which they said they could order in for me since they didn't have it in stock. So, I got passed off to the cash desk.
At the cash desk trying to order, it was so chaotic. Their desk was 'in the round' full of associates, but no clear indicator as to who was actually doing transactions, or who was just hanging out. After some forced puppy-dog eye contact, I got someone at the desk to glance up from her clipboard and put my paid order through. I was told I would get a call when my items were ready to be picked up. I left, but not without 5 more sales girls asking me if I need anything on my way out. (I guess they noticed I was walking out sans Aritzia bag)
I came back in a week or so to pick up my sneakers that were ordered. This time when the girl asked if I needed anything upon entering the store, I actually said, "Yes, I do! I'm picking up something I ordered." She said OK, and then passed me off to another girl to help me, who then passed me to another, And then THAT girl told me to line up at the Cash Desk. I was losing my patience since I literally just had to pick up something I've already paid for, and every person abandoned me and my cause. I get to the cash. She sends someone else to get my item, and that staff member hands me a shoebox with a pink slip on it. No bag to carry it in, No smile, No offer to check that this fits...just 'Here.'
As for my dresses that I ordered, to make a long story short, a month came and went before any word from the store. I called and They said they had a delayed shipment because of a long weekend. A week later they said they had no record of my order and had to track to see what happened. Then a different girl called me and apologized to tell me the same information. Then I called back a week later, and still nothing. Finally, I got a call saying my dresses were finally in. I go to the store, and turns out, only one of them came in.......
I'll stop the story here. Just....don't go. Or don't order anything because the sales girls can't comprehend how that process works. And the whole company just feels...Flaky. I don't get that Canadian pride or warm local feeling...at all.
