| - The scrappy cousin amongst the Italian markets in town, what this place lacks in style is compensated for with product selection. I go here occasionally to buy anchovy paste, marzipan, dried mushrooms, and other hard to find foodstuffs.
While it does not have the bakery and espresso bar that Lina's does, I HIGHLY suggest going here on a Sunday. On Sunday only, they fire up the wood-burning oven and serve up really good pizza. It's thin crust, but packed with WAY more toppings than you'd normally get on a Neapolitan style pie. It's the best of both worlds, and they don't compromise on quality, with the delicious 4 meats pizza optionally topped with whatever veggies you want for a reasonable $15.99. We got the mushrooms, olives, artichokes, and arugula, and couldn't finish it between the two of us. Driving home, I was still savouring the lingering taste of slightly burnt crust, spicy sauce, marinated artichokes, and satisfyingly greasy meat...
