  • Because this place allows dogs, I give an extra star. The hotel is very nice. I am used to the Venetian, which I absolutely love (Not only because my rooms are always comped, but because it is wonderful), so when I was able to bring my dog Zack with me this business trip, I went to one of the only two nicer hotels in Vegas that allows dogs (4 seasons is the other). Pros: 1) THEY ALLOW PETS 2) Very friendly employees, from the valet to the bellman to the reception desk. Everyone made us feel welcome (They gave Zack a delicious biscuit when we checked in). 3) It has an Asian feel to it, with a lot of very dark marble with white accents. Lovely. 4) Free wifi 5) Free valet parking 6) Very clean 7) Extremely spacious an beautifully decorated rooms 8) A small grassy area to give your dog a place to poop/pee and they offered poop bags right there for easy clean up Cons: 1) There seems to be some type of sewer issue going on by their side doors. It smells horrendous 2) The dog area is small, and not fenced...right next to a busy street. It would be nice if it was enclosed, so you could let your dog run around and stretch their legs 3) During the week, the poker room is abandoned, with games really only starting up at night 4) Although there is free wifi, it did not work in my room for the three days I was there. I called tech support 4 times, and every time I was assured it would be fixed within the hour. My cell phone did no t get internet either. 5) They charge you $50 if you put any items in their refrigerator...you have to 'rent' a refrigerator from them if you want one (Kinda petty, IMO) 6) No free coffee in your room. They want to charge you $4 per cup...again, petty 7) No matter how many times I asked the operator to NOT call me "Mister" every time I called in...it did not help. This is a big pet peeve of mine. Put Ms. in my reservation...and if you forget, then the operator should make note of it...ESPECIALLY when the guest gets angry over it...every time. All in all, I do like this place. But there were a lot of negatives that I NEVER have at the V...so unless I am traveling with a pet again, I will probably not come back (unless they comp me for my play from this last visit...then I might come back)
